He/Him/His
Paul Tiede is a 2024 Fellow and MPU’s Missoula, MT Brickyard Captain.
Paul Tiede lives in Missoula, Montana. He is a 1988 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, and upon graduation, Paul joined the Marine Corps. He had been an infantry officer in the Fleet Marine forces for nine years before leaving the service to move out West. His family lived in Glacier National Park for five years before they moved to Missoula. He has worked as a fireman, an EMT, a teacher, a therapist, and a business owner during his 25-year adventure in this beautiful state. As Paul turned 50, he wanted a new challenge and a new way to give back to the community and fellow Veterans, so he embarked on a PhD in clinical depth psychology. Paul is currently on that journey and is also actively working with Veterans who are suffering from PTSD and Moral Injury related type problems. Paul stated that he is excited to work with colleagues in +More Perfect Union as he does feel an individual can make a positive difference, but a group of like-minded people can move mountains.
