About Our Conversation

Genevieve and I met through our children’s martial arts class and have made efforts to build relationship between our families. However, we rarely if at all broached the topic of politics. I asked her to take the MPU coffee + courage challenge and she responded with a courageous yes! We shared our perspectives and found similarities and differences… at the end of our conversation I felt in some ways a relief. We were able to listen to each other, be curious about each other’s perspectives, and come away feeling a shared sense of concern for our country. Thank you MPU for the challenge!
