Charlynda Scales is a 2022 Fellow and Advisor for Ohio Brickyard operations.

Charlynda is a serial entrepreneur and serves as Founder and CEO of Mutt’s Sauce LLC and OH Taste LLC, Director of OH Taste (501c3), as well as the creator of the apparel company The Empower Collection. Her passion is mentoring small businesses and women empowerment. She is a TEDx alumnus. She served in the Air Force for 10 years active duty as a Senior Program Manager and currently serves as a Reservist at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. Charlynda and the story of Mutt’s Sauce has been featured nationally. Her non-profit, OH Taste, is building a shared-use commercial kitchen in Dayton, OH to help employ and educate food founders. Charlynda currently sits on the National Board of Bunker Labs, Veterans for Political Innovation, and Dayton Convention and Visitors Bureau. She is on the Board of Trustees for the Dayton Chamber of Commerce. Charlynda is a Gold Award Winner and has a Lifetime Membership to Girl Scouts of the USA.
