Film Screening “Join or Die”

American Legion

We will host food and libations (cash bar) along with the film ‘Join or Die‘ where we will challenge attendees to think about an American future that they wish to build based on the 6 +MPU values of Service, Mercy, Virtue, Humility, Courage and Hope. Following the film, we will have a group discussion regarding the rich American history of joining groups and how it has and can have a positive impact on our lives and our country. We will be joined by representatives from Veterans for WI Voters who will share about their organization and how to be involved.

The event is located at the American Legion Peter Wollner American Legion Post 288 in Cedarburg.

Additional information

+MPU unites the country and strengthens communities through social connection, service, and civic engagement.

We form local chapters – called Brickyards – to bring people together through social connection, service, and civic engagement events where we build stronger, more resilient communities. MPU envisions an America where democracy flourishes, every citizen enjoys equal freedom and meaningful choices in a more unified America. Dairyland Brickyard

Veterans for WI Voters is the Wisconsin chapter of the national Veterans for All Voters organization. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a mission to build and mobilize a community of military veterans to advocate for election innovations that unlock competition, make our politics less polarizing and our government more effective.

About the Cedarburg Chapter

Across cities and towns just like yours nationwide, we serve our communities by starting with bringing different neighbors together for events centered around social gatherings, service, and civics.

By rolling up our sleeves side-by-side, we can begin to see that we have more in common than what divides us; that first and foremost we are fellow Americans with a common love for our families and communities.

These Chapters – also known as our Brickyards – are mobile places for neighbors to connect and solve local problems. We do this through respectful and open conversations, and to find higher ground as we work together brick-by-brick.

The Dairyland Brickyard is located in Cedarburg, Wisconsin and led by Naoimi Lundman.
